With the blessings of our beloved Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba varu, we the Kilkattalai Samithi is involved in various spiritual, educational and service activities as laid by our Bhagwan. We are offering this news letter at thy lotus feet, on behalf of all our members, office bearers and devotees of Kilkattalai.

Sairam Kilkattalai activities in a nutshell:-

Since Covid-19, lock down(23rd, March-2020) we had various activities to keep ourselves connected with Bhagwan, like Nagarsankirthan, Bhajan, Satsang etc,.

The current world wide pandemic situation has created a lot of mental and emotional stress in people. The uncertainity of the existence of this Coronovirus is the hardest  to handle.

In such a situation to stay well connected with each other and to over come the fear of this pandemic various  Audio Video Projects were initiated.

• Daily conducted Balvikas classes till July end and later once in week i.e. on Sunday 9.00am to 10.30am.
• Satsang on Sai Satcharita, Tapovanam, Ramakatha Rasavahi and Dharmavahini , Conducted.
• Regular Bhajan Training were conducted to fine tune our bhajan singers and involve others to sing in the bhajans.
• Vedam Training session on every sunday 9.30am to 10.30am - through online.
• Sanathana Sarathy Books were subscribed to the devotees, balvikas children and others.
• Telecouncelling was given to Covid -19 Positive patients to help them recover soon
• Fruits and vegetables were delivered to Senior Citizens staying in the apartments from time to time on need basis.
• Fruits were provided to Covid - 19 patients
• 115 kits of AmrithaKalasam (Kit of Provision / Ration items) were distributed to Health Workers, Sanitary workers, Temple Priest and other needy people  with the strict compliance of Government norms and also as per the guidelines issued by head of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations,India.
• Liquid of Love - Blood Donation - Donors were organised for SoS Calls ( More than 250 donors) during this period with the strict compliance of Government protocols- Mask, Sanitiser, Pure drinking water bottle and biscuits, e-pass etc.. More over, one week daily conversation with donors, as health monitoring programme(good will) as well with patients for their Recovery developments
• Request received from various parts of Chennai, across the state and country. Also received from Singapore, Muscat and Bangladesh, where patient got admitted in India. First Aid Training, Disaster Management  Training were to given to all our members through online
• Mainly we had also given Special Physiotherapy Training, to beat out the drowsiness during the lock down as there is a need for physical activity (The ideal is 150 minutes a week of moderate exercise or 75 of vigorous exercise, or a mix. Strength and flexibility training should be undertaken at least twice a week. Moderate intensity activity will raise  heart rate, and make every one breathe faster and feel warmer.)
• 95 Nos - Blanket Distribution to the Road side Dwellers have been planned on 23rd November,2020(tonight programme)

Sairam. Balvikas classess are being conducted every Sunday 9.00am to 10.30am Presently through online. Children takes part, even from other places.
Parents support is remarkable. At the out set, We are thankful and share our Gratitude to our BV parents for their continued support.

Guidelines for all our programmes(19 to 23-11-2020):-

Sairam

1. Clean your house and decorate with  mavilai thoran and rangoli etc. as we do it for Diwali, Pongal etc.(make as Prashanthi Nilayam)
2. Decorate Bhagwan's alter with best possible way, place pooja items like Betal leaf, nuts, flowers, coconut, banana etc. You may pick the same from your garden/ market if required.(Keep Bhagwan’s altar decorated as you may do it at home during your regular house bhajans.)
3. Please adhere to the dress code laid by our organisation.
4. Gents white and white
5. Ladies light colour saree or Salwar Kameez with dupatta. Get connect through Google meet 10 minutes before the start time. Have both Video and Audio in mute during the programme ( while others are singing).
6. You may unmute your mic when you get your turn either to lead or follow.
7. Ensure that you have a disturbance- free environment when you unmute your mic for singing.
8. Remember to mute the mic immediately after the bhajan.
9. Lead singer should sing the bhajan each line only once for both the speed (2 speeds)
10. In case you miss to sing during your turn, the next singer would sing their song in your place and you may sing the next. (Need not worry)
11. If need may be to communicate any message to the admin during the Bhajan session, you may use Google chat.
12. Kindly avoid any comment on the bhajan or the singer (Positive or negative)
13. Please avoid sharing comments even in personal what’s app number.
14. PPT and the word doc sent in the group can be used as a ‘Ready Reckoner’. (This will help you know your turn to lead or follow)
15. Though the Aarti will be given at a common place ( Mr. Sai Sredhar’s residence), you may also do so at your residence during Maha mangala Aarthi - 6.00pm.
16. Please take photograph/video and share it with us for uploading in our website.
17. Finally, you may unmute your video and audio once the programme is over so that we all get the opportunity to meet (Virtually) each other

Birthday Evening Celebtraions

Making of “95KKT Sai Bhajan only”

To keep every one spiritually engaged during the COVID-19 lockdown period and to get rid of  the fear of this pandemic scenario, We had organised for singing - Each Member - One Bhajan  every day. We encouraged our singers to capture the  audio visual recording of their bhajan singing at their respective houses. Our First Initiative was " Manasa Bhajore Guru Charanam" followed by 108 Ashtothira Satha Namavali.

During the month of April,2020 we had our Samithi’s first anniversary celebrations, and on 29-04-2020 to mark Eswaramba day Celebration we started 95 bhajans and offered at thy lotus feet on 06-05-2020.

Every devotee felt blissful in spending time in a spiritual way, by singing bhajans during the lockdown period.

Hence, to continue this activity, we created a separate whatsapp group “KKT-95 Sai Bhajans only” A platform for singers across Samithi, District, state , country and Globe to render bhajans daily with their own voice.

The group guidelines were formulated and shared among the singers who participated. 

Group Guidelines as follows:-

Sai ram to all.* Humble pranams at thy Lotus Feet of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba varu.*

We would like to invite you all to render 95 Bhajan Pushpamala to Bhagwan on his 95 years of Love in Action, before 6th May 2020. Eswaramba Day. (But extended for 95 batches and later on to 108 batches., with HIS grace only.)

• Mention song number as 1 of 95.
• Before singing ensure you are not rendering duplicate song.
• Song can be with one time each line and second speed if possible.
• Total Time Duration 1-2 minutes.
• No repeated song.
• Render with full Bhava, Raga and Thala.
• Most important and must follow - Contacts not to be used for any personal use.
• No comments on song, singer or any other matter.
• No other messages, forwards allowed
